Spectrum FAQ

The Spectrum happens at Howard University in Washington, DC.  Our talented interns offer creative activities once per week on Thursday afternoons from 5pm-6pm.  The Spectrum is an afterschool club that occurs in 6-week sessions, for $85 (total).

Here is how it works: We train our interns to lead awesomely interesting activities and design several modifications for them to please a variety of kids. Each time our club meets, the participants gather and the interns present short ‘commercials’ for 3 or 4 great activity choices. Participants choose which activity they feel like doing that day. The next time the club meets, the structure is the same, but the activity choices are different.

Spring Sessions:

Feb 2 – Mar 8
Mar 22 – Apr 26
